Flowers are whimsical in nature; I often take inspiration from art, nature, and emotions, but ultimately I allow myself to be guided by the flowers. From their growth habits to the colour story, I take a curious approach to create arrangements that flow in texture, colour, and movement. And with that, I paint the story that is an ode to nature.
Whenever the light shines! But honestly? Between golden hour and sunset; the sky at these hours have been inspiration for quite a few of our creations.
Some of earliest memories as a young child take me back to picking wild flowers off curb-side planters and putting them into little bouquets (I hadn’t even learnt the word ‘bouquet’ yet) - I guess it has always been an intrinsic form of self expression. Fast-forwarding to tertiary education specialising in Landscape Design and Horticulture - where the technical foundation of my craft was built - thereby beginning my journey of creating with the providence of nature. In The Name Of - Flowers is now a place where I bring into a botanical/ floral expression the forms, occurrences and quirks of nature.
